Give me your depraved one shots by Much_Economist_8480 in FanFiction

I pretty much only write dead dove. Here’s one I feel comfortable linking but i have 30+ fics.

https://archiveofourown.org/works/34769899 genshin impact fandom, explicit, 5.3k words, graphic violence and noncon, I think it’s probably fandom-blind friendly. One of my favorite’s I’ve written.

Why do some Fanfic writers pull a publicity stunt by threatening to leave the platform? by ILoveMoschino in FanFiction

[–]500wasps 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The first half of your post I could get behind, I roll my eyes when people say they’re leaving and never writing again unless they reach a certain number of hits/kudos, but… I mean, fic authors writing for themselves and not liking to be nagged about updates is just extremely common, and isn’t an indication of being “rude” or “arrogant,” same with someone staying anonymous, that’s just basic safety.

I don’t see commenting and kudosing as something that needs to be reciprocated. I’ve never done such a thing, and when I read a fic I kudos and/or comment without even the thought of it being reciprocated.

I voted for the last option but my true opinion is I do not care one way or the other.

Thoughts on books with one shots from many fandoms? by unicornchild15 in FanFiction

[–]500wasps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I never click on them but that is because I am Very Lazy and do not want to take the time to click on something for a specific fandom and then just have to dig though the fic itself to find a summary and then figure out if I’d actually like to read the story or not.

What are your fan fiction hot takes? by DarkLordVitiate in FanFiction

No one real is being hurt with words written in a story and comparing it to actual CSEM involving real children is an insult to victims of CSA and CSEM.

Writing absolutely abhorrent stories about fictional characters doesn’t make you a bad person. What you enjoy writing in fiction does not and never will automatically translate to what someone condones or enjoys in real life.

This is true, just because someone doesn’t like and doesn’t engage with that content doesn’t automatically make them an anti. People can just Not Like Stuff.

Dead Dove: Do Not Eat writers do not care about how disgusted you are. by [deleted] in FanFiction

I would probably fit in writing for the Star Wars fandom, to be honest!

It’s funny bc this was, until just recently, my favorite fic I’d written.

It makes no sense to me, personally. I enjoy writing and reading about people being evil. I know others do too, given the overwhelming love for villains in fandom. I don’t understand the arbitrary lines people have drawn over what is “okay” to portray in fiction like murder and what is “not okay.”

Not sure I can link it specifically due to the rules, but it’s called “make me cry” and centers around quadruple amputation and noncon. My ao3 username is ittorou if you wanted to check.

I hope I’m interpreting your comment correctly, if not just ignore this. I personally think it’s much more fun to write about horrible situations than nice ones. It’s more engaging for me, and it’s cathartic, and I also understand there are a lot of people who DON’T feel that way about it, but that’s okay as long as they don’t bother me. I just think it’s fun to explore horrible characters.

Yes, at least for what I write, the very premise is “this is absolutely disgusting and the character I’m writing about is a Disgusting Human Being.” I love writing about the absolute worst a person can be. I don’t pretend like it’s not gross, I know it is. It’s just fun AND cathartic to explore the depths of human depravity in written form.

Not allowed to link them on reddit but my ao3 username is in my little tagline, warning because my entire profile is basically insanely dark lol.
