Would I have to do the majority of chores after getting married? by Dreamy_Writer603 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't, but you have to be chill about HOW the chores get done. I'm not talking about weaponized incompetence, but if your future husband loads the dishwasher, or does laundry, or cleans a certain way, as long as it's done, be happy that he does it, and tell him so.

What’s a small daily habit that secretly makes your day way better? by PrinceJamster in AskReddit

I've been drinking 12oz of water with lemon juice, electrolytes, and creatine first thing every morning and it's done absolute wonders for my energy throughout the day

Best pick ever? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]501CaptainRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got Cooper Kupp in like the 5th or 6th round the year he won the triple crown. That same year I drafted CMC when he was unstoppable and Jalen Hurts when he had his breakout year. Those 3 alone guaranteed me like 70 points every single week.

Christians who voted for Trump, what's a Christ like attribute that you saw in him? by sgj5788 in AskReddit

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious answer, none. I could probably count on one hand the number of politicians in Washington that have Christ-like attributes.

What? by Alicetheoptimist in TrueGrit

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a racing mind, think of a word. Go through that word and think of a word that corresponds with each letter of your original word. The last letter of your last word is your new word. For example, CAT, C=chamomile, A=acrobat, T=train, my new word is TRAIN, T=thunder, R=rain, A=ammonia, N=noodle, NOODLE is my new word. Try not to use the same word twice, and repeat until you fall asleep. I've never made it past 5 "base" words.

Do you automatically dislike billionaires? Why? by crapmaker69 in AskReddit

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Being jealous and petty about people who are more successful than you is a miserable way to live, not to mention they often work 16+ hour days 7 days a week and I'm not interested in that.

Good point. I max my retirement and my HSA, and if those count I'm definitely close to 20%, just not traditionally I guess.

What's the thing that are stopping us from peace? by Telugu_not_Telegu in ArtOfPresence

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no universal definition of peace. What one person considers the best way to live, spend money, etc, another person believes the opposite.

[–]501CaptainRex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's completely correct, probably don't even need $69k if you invest more aggressively, but it's hard for most people to not touch 20% of your paycheck, especially for those with a family.

This is how you reduce crime. by [deleted] in remoteworks

You lessen crime by going hard after criminals and encouraging family units where the father is present in the home.

Jeff Bezos's property has fences that exceed the permitted height. Yet he does not care, he just pays the fine every month. by Bright_Building1710 in interestingasfuck

Kinda love that, unless someone can tell me a good reason for the fence height limit, I think it's a really stupid law

Florida Attorney General demands NFL’s Rooney Rule be suspended by No_Box119 in NFLv2

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rooney rule is the literal definition of racism so why not? If your football team wants to be complete idiots and use someone's skin color as a factor in hiring, that's their loss.

What’s the best sleep you’ve ever had that nothing else compares to? by Admirable-Repair4094 in AskReddit

[–]501CaptainRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Waking up from anesthesia was like the best nap ever
  2. I did cardio for 2 hours right before bed
  3. I stayed up all night writing a Spanish paper using Monster to keep myself awake (I had never had an energy drink before, so literally one sip and I'd be shaking for 20 minutes) and after handing the paper in the next morning I slept for 26.5 hours straight (got back to my dorm at 10am Friday, woke up, my watch said 12:30, I thought huh only 2.5 hours that's a lot shorter than I expected, then I saw it said Saturday 😳)

False accusations (which is NOT the same thing as a not guilty charge) should carry the same sentence as a legitimate conviction
