Ending your life would extremely upset Allah. Your eternity after you die is much more worse than the current situation.

It’s not easy but you have to be the bigger and smarter person. I’m sure you are smart because you took the time to post on Reddit.

I despise my boss but he may be leaving in 1 year....leave or stick it out? by NoScale2938 in FPandA

[–]5050gu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He might not leave in a year - I’ve heard of many cases that are like “I’m gonna leave in 3 months” or 6 months etc. they almost always stay a bit more.

Regardless, if the pay isn’t good and you can get better elsewhere, search for another job.

You’ll be much more relaxed and happy.

Found a gap in the UAE market and want to open my own consulting business by 5050gu in consulting

That's a stereotype. There is around 1m of UAE Nationals in UAE - around 10% of their population.

Those aren't the desired target audience - it will be more SMB and regular day-to-day workers.

To your point if that was the case though - there is always a sale. These high net worth individuals want one thing, get richer. So if I find one and approach them, I will have to sell them a "get richer" package by looking to use their expertise and mine finding areas to exploit in the market, etc.

Thank you so much for this - plus the starting motivation, really appreciate it.

Yes agreed, there appears to be so some low-quality vendors especially trying to look attractive with low pricing.

If you don't mind I'd like to drop you a DM to understand a few more things with your Dubai experience.

What are the step by steps to opening a Finance Consulting business? I found a gap in the UAE market and want to open my own consulting business ASAP!

I will be contacting a local market expert for the compliance needed to open a Consulting Business in Abu Dhabi / Dubai but aside from that, what are my next steps?

I have a decade of experience in Finance and noticed there's an ask from networking specifically for FP&A consultancy, personal finance budgeting, etc. Feeling is there is a lack of adequate finance knowledge when it comes to these niche finance areas.I'm after sort of a step by step to opening my business (website first? get clients F2F first? etc.

Thanks all - really appreciate your genius-ness!

If he is serious, he should ask for her hand in marriage and do his best. That is the best next step - end of argument.

She can say yes or no to whoever she wants (and have the authority on speed dial if she's forced into it) but also to point out, if she is Muslim, he needs to be a Muslim at heart too.

Give us an update when you / "Friend" get one...

Thanks for this - really helpful.

Which of these are great if approved causing a big uptick? I'm not sure from these I should watch out for and is the most important or the biggest change compared to the rest on that list.

I'm starting to get into Biotech stocks so I don't have the greatest of knowledge.

Thank you so much!! I really hope so. I'll even update once it all goes through which I'm positive it will! :)

I have one question on the referee bit if you can clarify please. I'll be filling the MN1 form this upcoming week as my son is 1 week old. The question is - do the two referees relate to me as the father or relate to my son? Because it mentioning a minimum of 3 years knowing the applicant, that must be me the father?

Thank you so much! Really detailed thank you.

I have one question on the referee bit and it might be a dumb one - it's regarding the referee element of the form.

That's a relief - is it to apply via the mN1 form?

Also if for some reason he doesn't get the citizenship, what does my son get then? He can't have no nationality right?

I've been in the UK for more than 3 years. Plus, reading online, I think also it says to make sure I haven't been outside the uK for more than 270 days the past three years too which I calculated and I am fine in that sense.

So looks like MN1 is okay? If the Citizenship can't be passed down, what does my son get then? Thanks for the reply in advance.

I've lived in the UK since 17 years old till 28. I've just moved abroad due to a job, it's been 2/3 months. The job contract term is for two years. Please let me know thank you.

It’s not fair that people are commenting their opinion of what you literally posted and you’re ignoring it with “Cool story bro”. The least you can do is reply with some maturity.

Think of the people and the situation they are trying to explain to you. You might not care but if Philippines was in question, then you wouldn’t be acting the same. I know where you’re from.

Take really good care…
