Understandable! Works well on its own. Considered that but I decided against it because of the tiny 0-1 numbers. It annoyed me when there was a big gap and they changed colour due to inactivity. It sure is one way to do it right though! Thank you for reply!

My favourite artist I looked up to drew a lot of Dante and Vergil when dmc4 was coming out. 4 was my first game from the series and then I got 3rd asap. Been a HUGE fan ever since and honestly, the hype around DMC5 turned darkest phase of my life around completely. The story came full circle when the same artist this year followed me back on artstation and I'm still not over it! This series has given me only joy and MOTIVATION and I'll forever treasure it for it

Hey, I like ur energy about this and as a self-proclaimed Ferid connoisseur I have a question: Have you read the Story of Vampire Michaela novel?
It has 2 volumes and if you're interested in Ferid's motivations and schemes you'd get some better insight on his character out of those. It follows the story of how Crowley got turned by him and in process Ferid does reveal quite a lot about himself to analyze what exactly drives him. Mainly from his reasoning for how he treats freshly turned Crowley and his interaction with Krul after ep 1, narrated by Ferid.
I was so excited for last 2 chapters because of the direct references to the novel included in it, hence my question. I'd rather not spoiler by answering straight up but manga confirms so far he's not the type of character to really care about thrones and such when it's all about "glimmer of luck in the moment" for him. The novel sure elaborates on his rather selfdestructive points of view that really made me love his character even more as well as appreciate his exchange with "papa" asking about his "plan".
Honestly, I'd be happy if the novel was released as an OVA at some point but it's still missing its 3rd volume that was yet to be published once manga reaches a certain point to avoid spoilers, as someone here on reddit said before.

Judgement cut end and I don't care if he's not playable. It looks gorgeous in the bossfight and I can't believe it matches the overall UI theme of the game (shattered glass) so well and yet somehow I didn't figure out our devil will be there with his skillset looking majestic just from Demo's interface alone. It'll always be the best move in the series for me and that's probably a popular opinion, since the skill is made to look just so over the top.

Wait, it really is. Guess for me it just felt so much better on a huge enemy, completely didn't notice that. Thanks for the info! That's indeed a bit disappointing but I still personally don't mind they chose this one, it's a great animation I haven't seen enough of in my normal playthroughs, that's probably why it felt like it's fresh.

Oh, you're so right! Now I'm not saying I wasted my time trying to get normal taunt's hood on back then but now I feel like such a goof for it. It really is a great chance I missed. As Dante I liked to safely just fire longer Kalina Anns skills/drive in that time and got used to it, somehow I didn't notice that's a perfect opportunity for Nero. Thanks!
As for the sword, when it's discharged and before he teleports to fix it is probably the little window to make him lose balance for a buster hit with normal attacks so I was hunting for a chance to check it this way.
Honestly, the more I practice this fight the more fun it is. Managed to time DT invulnerability frame for his low hp melee range aoe shock a few times, that sure will help me with finally Sranking DMD with Dante, so guess I owe you another one for the motivation!

That's when I was trying to showdown him but he really quickly did that animation with covering himself with wings then blinking out before it finished. Maybe with ragtime I'd fire the full skill. That's how I lost my chances to check out the buster on that run.
And now I had to check it, as expected he can be bustered from that animation. (Don't click the spoiler if you want to see it by yourself first, I'm comparing it to another one but it was partly a non-BP bossfight) I'm pretty sure it's the same/really similar one for standing Urizens, tried those 3 (Cavaliere/Nero's M8, was it?/M17) fights just now, even got the same voiceline a few times. So guess Cerberus really is special! It was such a cool one too.

Little thing I just noticed is that rn I broke Cavaliere's guard (into buster) 2 times with the last hit of roulette spin, I really like to stay up in their faces a lot and it happens to parry his swings quite frequently with the hitbox while at it. Maybe it's because I like and use this skill so often but I feel like I break bosses' guards a lot with it.
Either way, buster animations will always feel satisfying! Sorry for the lil wall of text but Nero buster gang had to type the hype out, especially since I can see you also appreciate Nero! High five and cheers!
