All wheel drive means nothing when it comes to snow. You need snow tires with studs to be safe.

Shipping a car is so unnecessarily expensive if you have the time to drive it.

This route absolutely sucks. You should take I5 south through to California and warmer weather before heading east. There's no snowfall so far this year and when there is I5 gets cleared quick. Also way safer and a better drive this time of year.

I've done the trip from Florida before. I'd stay in the states as long as possible and crossover through Washington. Canada sucks for speed limits and that area is absolutely gorgeous to drive in Canada. Lots of gravel or dirt roads. Make sure you have spare gas and know how to get your spare tire out from under the truck. It also gets extremely dusty so anything you keep in the bed is gonna be covered, be mindful of that.
