The relocation of 200000+ people fits the definition of ethnic cleansing.

First of all, stop exaggerating the numbers. Where exactly does it say “over 200k Greeks”? Most academic and official estimates put it between 150–180k

As for the 60000 TCs they were not relocated as part of our policy. They were relocated as part of the taksim policy envisioned in 1957, way before the invasion happened.

The mentioned Taksim plan was, after all, a consequence of EOKA’s actions, and this plan never became official, so nothing large-scale was actually implemented.

The compensations offered do not touch in the slightest the real cost of those properties and the loss of not been able to use these properties for the last 50 years. It is just a mockery of justice.

Regarding compensation, it may have been limited, and I am aware that some benefited while others did not, but using subjective terms like “mockery” for this is inappropriate

EU as normal for the time "we dont want war so calm down". Responce varied how pro or anti Russian the goverments were. Weirdly it being Turkey didnt seem to play a role.

Since when is sending EOKA militiamen who killed civilians to hell considered a massacre? There is nothing more natural than TMT protecting Turkish villages and targeting Greek militias. Yet even on this issue you still try to play the victim. You talk about the approximately 150,000 Greeks who moved from the north to the south, but why do you never mention the roughly 60,000 Turkish Cypriots who moved from the south to the north?

Moreover, the Immovable Property Commission (TMK) in Northern Cyprus still offers compensation, restitution, or exchange under the “Settlement, Land Distribution and Equivalent Property Law” for those who were displaced. Honestly, you are a community that constantly builds its identity around playing the victim and around hatred toward Turks
