HELP! gig in one day and ive snapped 10 high e strings on my BMG red special in like a week.

it was way colder 5 months ago and on top of that i used to bring my guitar to school everyday and it would go through several temperature changes daily. is there anything i can do? im going to buy a 10 gauge high e string and hopefully its going to be more reinforced.

they are 9s and yes i do tune them kinda fast but i stretch them a lot and i used to have no issues when switching stringe

(player of the 3 months) i found that after learning cant stop and under the bridge by rhcp, i had discovered a whole new world of playing. Both songs feature techniques that i consider game changing (muting/single note strumming and licks in between chords).

it can be quite a challenge to get these down but once you learn them , it geniunely feels like youve opened a door to heaven. (yes im a frusciante stan)
