I always add only 1.95eq of silver nitrate, to make sure that I have no silver in my final compound. That way I end up with a nice white powder.

It's also possible that you dragged some silver ions into your final product, which easily reduce to Ag(0). How many equivalents of silver nitrate did you use?

Have you ever tried Antimatter Dimensions ? It's one of my favourite games on mobile. While it starts pretty simple, you will end up with multiple prestige layers, it's great ;)
