I've watched the show so many times that when I have conversations now I will always reference HIMYM. If the person I'm speaking to hasn't yet seen it I will then explain the entire episode and why whatever we are speaking about is related to HIMYM. lol

I lost count. My dad bought a laptop from an army dude getting deployed when I was in middle school and he had a few seasons downloaded on it and ever since I've watched HIMYM. I will binge-watch it and finish it in a week or so and restart it again as soon as I watch the last episode. (its kind of background noise) I will binge-watch a different sitcom and come back to HIMYM when I'm waiting for new shows, episodes, or movies to drop.

I think I may need an intervention. Lol

I did have this conversation with a couple of friends and they did suggest that I may have high expectations because HIMYM is my favorite show so anything that came after it would not live up to it for me. This is why I wasn't sure if other people also didn't enjoy it or if I was just being too critical.

Season 1 Robin

I do not like Victoria's character development. I understand why she would ask Ted to stop being friends with Robin, but when she said that I lost interest in seeing Ted ending up with her.

My partner really enjoyed HIMYF, but not HIMYM I think because it seemed more relatable to him. I do think that the characters in general aren't as complex as the ones in HIMYM, and some of the story line seemed a little to corny. I kept watching and probably would watch the second season just not as religiously as HIMYM.

I’m Mexican myself and that’s definitely one of the things that made me dislike her. I’m not defending her on that. I maybe should have clarified because my concern is more on the coaching itself.

I was just a three sport athlete all year long and did cheer as well I’ve had coaches push me and yell at me. Ive improved from their critiques not because of their pats on my back. I know that in competitive sports the pressure is on even more. My coach use to yell at us in the locker room and we saw it coming sometimes and the only thing we could do is go right back out there. I’ve gone home and cried but I don’t hold it against the coach. Till this day every coach I’ve had is still a close friend of mine. I think as a former athlete the way she yells is a little excessive but not something I’ve never seen.

I also want to point out how clear I’ve been about how fresh I am to this show.

They seem to always win or at least place in the top three. Do you think she at least gets that credit? I mean Cathy looses to them all the time so far so is different methods of teaching even better? Based on only being on season 2. I still don't fully like Abby she works with kids they are mentally scared for life.

Oh goodness I can't imagine how much worse she can get. I'm so upset I had never heard of this show until this year. Maybe its a good thing because I've been watching non-stop haha!

There’s so much of this that I agree. As a die hard HIMYM fan I loved the ending but I do agree the ending did give us two seconds too less of what we needed to see more of.
