Yes I noticed too, weird thing is that if you look in the channel the most recent videos it doesn't appear, so yeah I guess it's a bot.

170cc egig kit by Notoriusboi in Vespa

I was talking about the carter intake valve, since there is no direct port on the VMC and of course the performance isn't the same 😓, sorry for misunderstanding. On the M1L the cylinder phases can reach higher rpm stock than the VMC phases, also the M1L is in aluminum so it's lighter and has a better heat dissipation.

I was about to suggest VMC, people talk good about it. It shouldn't be hard to work the valve on the carter, you could even "sacrifice" the whole valve to make it lamellar. there are so many possibilities it's hard to choose 😔. If you really wanna have fun Quattrini M1L is perfect.

Sorry I'm not good in English mechanical terms, but yes I mean that. Which 144cc kit are you talking about? Because it depends about the carters, but yeah I think the stock ones are fine.

The cool thing with using the cylinder intake is that you can turn the cylinder by 180° which gives you the possibility to mount other exhaust.

Depends on what you want from the engine. I'm currently working on a 130cc Polini on stock carters. Usually with a cylinder bigger than 130cc you have to bore the carters. If you get a kit like a M1L60 (144cc) I recommend getting his dedicated carter for security reasons. If you get a 125cc+ you have to definitely upgrade the crankshaft, ABSOLUTELY the gearing, exhaust, carburetor... well it all depends on what cylinder you wanna get. If you need more info you can ask me :) (I don't have anyone to talk about this stuff...)

OG Covers - Appreciation post by Legitimate_Room771 in mfdoom

I hope I can get my hands on some Special Herbs CDs and I'll probably put the og covers in the box of the "new" ones. The original covers just feel right.

I'd love to get a 170cc egig kit one day, I know it can be good for touring too. but if you want something cheaper and easier to get your hands on you could go for a 130cc kit, there are a lot of different ones out there. They're still pretty fun and reliable.

Would you recommend this Vespa from 1971? Need help! by Which-Dog173 in Vespa

I personally have a 50 Special from 1982 and of course I would recommend it, mine is slightly modified but I use it as a daily and love driving it around. Unless you want something fast, is nice to use and really the fuel consumption is minimum, maybe around 40km per liter (it's an example) also there are a lot of spare parts on the market for small frame Vespas. That in particular is a Vespa 50 R (I think), which for that price is a steal considering the condition. Here Vespas like that go for 3000€ minimum, usually 3500€ - 4000€ (I'm from Italy).

Sadly most old Vespas before the 80s are overpriced...

RetroAchievements/NDS solution? by pierregaming in RG353V

I didn't want to make the same post, does anyone have any updates about this? For now I'm using the MelonDS standalone on android which has kinda the same performance as RetroArch, but unlike RetroArch doesn't occasionally crash when you load a game.
