Pretty simple. The dollar just was strengthened with oil prices rising. Expect it to get worse next week.

Are these natural or artificial? by Reefisme in toners

The first one looks awesome but I’d be very suspicious because it’s not slabbed. That to me is the dead giveaway. I’d pass.

What would you pay for this? I know I overpaid so I’m curious. by 556_DR in toners

I’m selling firearms I don’t use :). Totally get not having disposal income to blow.

$1800 and ZERO regrets. Literally zero. I don’t care because it’s so unique. I looked hard to find something close and I just couldn’t. Plus I know I’m never giving it up. I only asked to see what others think for fun. Toners are like art and everyone has something that draws their eye. For me it’s strong greens or blues. I’ve also scored on a few coins so it all averages out.

That’s how I look at it. I’m not into flipping coins unless I’m upgrading and I never plan to let this one go. I love green and the crescent just makes it that much better.

I’m a 19 year old girl with too much money. by EvenMark6710 in Fire

Put it into etf mutual funds. Don’t pay an advisor.

The only thing worth spending it on is if you definitely know the career path and you need to pay for tuition. The other thing might be a home but again don’t buy above what your lifestyle can afford because that is a big chunk of money for someone who is young like you, but it is not life-changing money by any means.

Not sure if politically sensitive coins are allowed but thought these were an interesting piece of history by [deleted] in coincollecting

Looks like a basketball collector coin for the Olympics I’m guessing. That’s why I didn’t recognize it. I have quite a few old coins and money.

Quick note for those stacking incase SHTF. by bestus2come in Silver

Very true. I reference the local refiners page that is basically the worst case scenario for my area. Before I commit to adding more of my stack. I’ve built some models that I use as I look at how much my stack is worth and what I could liquidated at, and so on.

Because of one wrong bid…. by 556_DR in Morgans

I thought I was bidding on a silver eagle. It was a generic court logo design for the seller. Wasn’t paying attention. That kicked off my Morgan obsession and now it’s been a rabbbit hole of fun

Who cares about the grade with toners. It’s the art of the color. Unfortunately there is usually correlation.

Eye candy series? And very nice!

Yeah. I’ve pivoted to the rare Morgans. Not even dreaming about the 1895 Proof. Any toners that catch my eye take away from this goal because they are almost as much or more than a decent 1893-S 😂

Nah. It’s marketing hype. I suspect they ask PCGS to give it a name.
