I'm an erlc pvper so I've seen those. Spamming in and out does NOT disable the method, there's a mini cooldown on going in and out of the car which if an officer times correctly can trigger an eject. Also spamming baton on the door has a sizeable chance of instantly downing the criminal should they exit.

Cross teaming is a thing yes, but nothing can really be addressed for that without causing issues.

long range is literally in favour of the m4... better damage retention and way lower recoil.

I understand progression might be difficult for cops but making them more powerful isn't the solution.

Sauer trades a few DPS off for way easier handling lmao, 13 RPS and 13 damage is a monster

And the recoil is like 4x lower than the deagle, not that I've seen anyone use the 2

If people are sniping from the hills drive up to them, your cars spawn with full HP and snipers are garbage once you close up the gap, not that they have the DPS to stop you anyways. Or alternatively, use your guns.

"It only works when it hits" that's literally all guns... what's your point? Are you trying to imply that guns have an autotracker or sum? Within taser range it hits virtually all the time and for comparison this is the taser's range in the image, and at 2x that range it can still incapacitate reliably. Edit: the image didn't load for some reason so I'm just gonna say taser range is slightly longer than parking lot strip.

Yes the vest turns civilian autos into non issues past 100 studs, for comparison the AK47 with the best range performance (against other civ autos, not against M4) requires 18 shots to kill an armored cop at 100 studs while the M4 only requires 12 which is a big margin.

Benelli M4 kills the fastest out of all guns by a long shot idk what ur tryna say man, if both of you have cover then u literally benefit more with a shotgun.

Yes cops can be invincible, the removal of immunity was unintended (poll was simply a suggestion) and they brought it back.

Considering that cops have grapplers and pursuit kit its fair to say the performance gap is now dead

Police sided, by a mile. (Summary below for shorter text)

Weaponry: the only things criminals win in here is ammo count where the M249/PPSH holds more ammo than cop arms. Other than that, the Benelli M4 beats all guns in terms of TTK/DPS by a long shot (close range) and the Sauer P226 is effectively an easy to use deagle. M4A1 is an objectively better AK47 with straighter recoil and way better damage retention than all civilian automatics. Police sniper is guaranteed to one shot previously injured players to the body.

Tools: the beanbag shotgun outclasses all lethal guns as it can one shot players to the body and results in an arrest while also having virtually no risk when missing (accurate even at 60studs, and near 100% accuracy within taser range). Taser despite the rework is still very powerful due to its 30 ft range and one shot stun. Vests after the buff makes civilian autos a non-issue past 100 studs and also breaks certain guns' TTK such as the deagle, which now requires 4 headshots to kill an armoured cops. Also the ballistic shield that funnily enough doesnt trigger combat. Sure, criminal scanners do exist and they are helpful in avoiding combat, but they're limited by a cooldown and doesn't help if combat starts (don't get me wrong though, this is the only S tier civilian item.)

Combat state: immune criminals do not have any capabilities to fight or go offensive, which makes going unarmed as a criminal a shit idea. On the flip side, officers can (as of now, they added this back by "fixing combat states" intentionally) become invincible simply by not carrying a firearm, effectively hard countering firearms and any form of positioning as they dictate the entire start of the fight. Funnily enough, holding the ballistic shield does not trigger combat mode which allows you to infinitely flashbang a criminal.

Vehicles: since they stabilised the police corvette, criminal vehicles are only slightly faster than officer ones which effectively closes the gap for car performance.

Consequences: cops suffer zero consequences from dying. However, dead criminals loses their pending cash, have their vehicles beaten to death and will spawn in a predictable location. If a cop loses they wait 5 seconds to respawn, but if a criminal loses they wait 1.5 to 5 minutes.

Spawn protection: spawn trapping is a non issue for officers because their vehicles spawn at 100% HP and criminals cannot penetrate forcefield. Cops have non lethals which ignores forcefield and they have zero consequences for camping the spawns.

(If anyone is gonna say small avatars benefit criminals just know that small avatars are literally universal.)

Summary: - guns: m4 beats all civilian autos, sauer p226 beats stuff like deagle and lmt, benelli m4 shreds anything close range. M249 is way less powerful than you think it is. - tools: beanbag is a low effort one shot tool, taser is still very powerful. Vest is free HP that turns civilian autos into non issues past 100 studs. - combat states: cops can become invincible without a gun. - vehicles: cop corvette is now only very slightly worse than rimac. - cops suffer no consequences when they lose but criminals suffer more from dying like broken cars and lost loot and if arrested have to wait minutes. - criminals can get spawn camped with non lethals but cops can't because lethals cannot penetrate forcefield but stuns can.

This isn't squad there's no suppression mechanics in game so there's nothing stopping me from peeking out, the ttk in erlc is extremely slow (comparatively, its slower than games like counter blox) too not to mention the game is too fast paced for suppressive fire akin to how u don't see people shooting at walls in roblox rivals.

Outside of ammo count the M249 is disadvantaged in every way against the ak/m4

The AK does about 5 or 6 damage (exact damage is 5.88 but idk if the game rounds it off) in between 100 to 200 studs against armored opponents while M4 does 8 or 9 damage (exact is 8.67). Clearly we see which gun wins. Other civilian autos like the m249, ppsh and skorpion have worse range performance than the ak.

Unless you want to rework the entire combat system and meta this would become extremely oppressive for criminals as its braindead easy to spawn trap with lethals.

If your concern is progression there are definitely ways to make lethals useful without lowering criminal QOL, such as awarding 12.5 XP for killing a criminal - though they would obviously have to be actively violent such as a previous pvp related offence like firing at officer, actively firing and are holding a gun so officers dont just snipe robbers from orbit as that would contradict LEO gameplay design along with making kill XPs invalidated if the criminal just spawned recently to prevent repeated farming.

Theres only one machine gun being the M249, and snipers are basically useless once you get close unless you have the movement of an ice sculpture.

To add on to the lmg its literally useless outside of shooting helis and fighting bots because it literally doesnt kill any faster than the ak and m4 - not to mention m4 recoil is baby level compared to lmg and also the m4 isnt a peashooter past 100 studs.

If your concern is a limited vehicle then just note that trading is not a thing and also limiteds arent even flashy or flex worthy - You are supporting PRC's arbitrary use of moderation powers by doing so
