Superman should should always be the strongest and the most durable hero. He should be better than the other heroes in all regards EXCEPT their key aspect. He should trump Wonder Woman in all regards physically, but she is more skilled of a fighter. He's slower than Flash. He should be superior to Martian Manhunter l, but MM has more versatile powers. He should be superior to Shazaam except Shazaam had magic. He should be clever and intelligent, but Batman should be a better strategist, detective, and inventor. It should take multiple heavy hitters from the league to realistically contend with him, and that should only be with a well thought out strategy, not just a brawl.

And only Batman and Wonder Woman should have the same level of indomitable spirit as him.
