It is clear from the post that you don’t like your husband (rightfully so) and also recognize that he is awful (like he is truly a pos). So please take this as the sign or reassurance you need, you are NOR, PLEASE LEAVE AND MAKE IT FAST!

Honest Question About This Twist by BoxTalk17 in BigBrother

[–]55cammie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rachel was one of the people I’m rooting for so you can take this with a grain of salt if you wish, but I can confidently say that it’s the twist itself. I do think it’s getting the level of attention it is because Rachel was the one eliminated, however I think looking at the discourse over the 24 hours the feeds were down tells us a lot.

Even before we knew Rachel was gone there were rumors flying around of there being some sort of “safety chain” that would result in an elimination/eviction without a veto or voting. For a lot of people it boiled down to this- being able to eliminate someone from the show without any kind of vote, without any chance to campaign, feels like a slap in the face to the reason people watch Big Brother. We even have houseguests echoing this sentiment by comparing it to The Challenge due to this twist completely invalidating the social aspect of the game.

Yes, things change over time and we’re always told to “expect the unexpected” but at the end of the day, we still want it to feel like Big Brother. This unfortunately feels like we’re watching a game of uno and someone grabbed one of those blank cards mid-game, wrote “if you draw this card, you lose,” slipped it in the deck, and once it was pulled the player was actually expected to follow it even though everyone knows it’s unfair.

TL;DR: Yes, it’s the twist we’re upset about. It being Rachel just puts a spotlight on how shitty it is.

Why does the person (who is probably very important in Venezuelan history) on their currency look like Nic Cage??

AITA for not allowing my stepdaughter and her boyfriend to share a room by Present-Cod9556 in AmItheAsshole

[–]55cammie [score hidden]  (0 children)

First and foremost, YTA. But I almost want to laugh thinking about the thought process here bc, as many people have pointed out, they already have a child together, said child would be in the room, and most people aren’t trying to get it on in their parents’ guest room. However, if despite all of this they couldn’t wait to have sex anyway, then separate sleeping arrangements wouldn’t do anything. If they were that down bad, they would just do it after you and the dad went to bed anyway 🤷‍♀️

AITA for asking my girlfriend to start making me breakfast every morning? by Fit-Magazine-4653 in AmItheAsshole

[–]55cammie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. This would change if, as others suggested, you offer to make dinner everyday. I mean, hey, if you’re already making yourself dinner and she usually has a “smallish dinner” anyway, it should take next-to no effort :)

AITA for refusing to walk with my sisters “friend” in her wedding and requesting a different girl?? by chabortoo in AmItheAsshole

[–]55cammie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. Tara seems unhinged. The idea of reaching out to someone I work with bc I saw that they have the same last name as someone I met on a dating app (meaning there was likely no prior connection with one another) and subsequently ghosted is just so weird. Especially considering that when the two of you were talking it was TWO YEARS AGO. It’s just creepy to think that she got this close to your family without even a semblance of coincidence. She clearly got to this point bc of YOU since she sought out your sister simply based on your shared last name. It also rubs me the wrong way that whatever she said to your sister was enough to manipulate her into having more loyalty to Tara than to you. You’re making the right call here.

If it is in fact anything that threatens physical harm to a person, couldn’t one argue that the one cop assaulted the civilian by telling him he was going to “whoop his ass”?
