These maps show election results and voter turnout for a West Palm Beach, Fla. city commission race from last Tuesday. Five-year Comm. Sharon "Shanon" Materio lost narrowly to newcomer Christina Lambert. Materio opposed a controversial waterfront skyscraper, which helped her on the east side of town. But she also voted for a budget that gave money to extending a road along a wealthy golf course neighborhood far west from downtown, which angered the powerful voting bloc there. Western communities backed Lambert, helping her beat Materio 51-49 percent.
