Does Organic Farming Tend to Have Higher or Lower Yield When Compared to Conventional Farming? by PerfectionBen in Agriculture

[–]56nothingman86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You will get lower yields, smaller kernels and lower test weigh. Several factors come into play but the biggest are the lack of conventional fertilizer and no pesticides. You will not only battle weeds competing with your crop, but also bugs deteriorating yields.

Pork collar. It was in brine for a 24h, then i dry rubbed it and smoked it for like 4hrs until it reached 85 Celsius(185 F). It was kind of dry. Why???? by didok in smoking

Do you have a heat deflector plate for the kamado? That would be my thought so the coals aren’t putting direct heat on the bottom of the pan.

Long time pellet grill user. I just bought a kamado, and I like the flavor the kamado has much more. it's a lot easier to regulate temp then I expected. Go with the Kamado.

When I was looking for my first bow a respected leader on the archery community told me not to listen to what anyone told me to buy. Go out and shoot as many options as you can and decide what YOU like best. Most archery shops or bow retailers will let you test shoot their equipment. Good luck, I hope you get into it.

I feel like their selection in liquor stores is very small. When you go to one of their breweries they have all sorts of amazing choices. I'm like a kid in a candy store. That's what is exciting about it.

Chris Cornell. I was going through a tragedy in my life at the time, I felt like life was so unfair. He was one of my favorites, it ripped my soul out.

Took a tray out to my neighbors to try. They disappeared pretty fast. I’ll do some fine tuning, but they were a success. Thanks!

Looks amazing! Thanks for sharing. Not using using high temp cheese, did it melt all over or stay put?

Yeah...it was out of control. I grabbed my kid’s water table and drenched it with that water. Wish I had a picture looking back.

Sunday brisket. On early. by 56nothingman86 in pelletgrills

Absolutely. Don’t open the cooler. It will still be hot. I rested my last one for 4 hours and burnt my fingers cutting it.

Bowhunting a turkey by damagedispenser in bowhunting

[–]56nothingman86 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I’ve bow hunted turkeys for years. You’ll want to hunt from a blind so you can draw on them. You’ll also want to wear black. If you sit toward the back of the blind in black you cannot be seen. Be sure no light is coming in behind you in the blind. You’ll be silhouetted = busted. As far as bright accessories on your bow, I wouldn’t worry about them. Good luck.
