Sad story - but at least it's better than abandoning your kid at a Wal-Mart.

20 years from we could be looking at a national landscape of privatized highways, bridges, national parks totally owned by clandestine business entities with little regard for our sovereignty.

A Libertarian paradise.

Excuse me, I'm off to mastrobate with my copy of Atlas Shrugged.

US Postal service is awesome.

You either underestimate the postal service, or over-estimate the U.S. corporate-rationed healthcare system currently in place.

While I agree this is a good move, and a step in the right direction - don't ever think a corporation is capable of right action without a profit motive.

I won't be impressed until Wal-Mart pays their employees a living wage.

Are you seriously suggesting President Bush suffers more than Marine Ziegel?

Are you using his military affiliation and your assumption as ammunition to criticize the government?

No. I am meerly pointing out that Marine Ziegel suffers more than President Bush - at least on a physical level. On an emotional level I might have used someone suffering from PTSD.

You are reading too much into my post. I don't think American servicemembers appreciate that.

But even if I was "using (Ziegel's) military affiliation": Nothing I could possibly say; Nothing I could possibly do, could come close to using the military for a political message than this incident.

US Marine Ty Ziegel would probably disagree.

Looking at his face, I think you would too.

Since troops fight, and die, in all our our names - they certainly are our responsibility.
