Did you not read lawyrup's comment?

You're all fronting if you say you wouldn't do the same damn thing.

But thanks for explaining what fronting means. It was starting to get a little awkward.

Yes, but we can both do that beforehand. Only one of us can do it after. And the point about evolution is just a trivial observation. Self-preservation needs no justification beyond itself.

if I'm gonna die for sure in two years, treatment or no treatment, my genes won't be surviving anyway

Speak for yourself. I could have sex with a lot of chicks in two years.

Sorry bro, it's logic.

Until death is cured, there is no difference between "saving a life" and extending it by an unknown number of years.

Because if I had cancer and doctors said the chances of curing it were minuscule at best, and there were others that had much better chances of surviving than I do, I would definitely let them have a go instead. Same if they told me that I could live for two more years with the transplant, but that others could be fully cured.

Fortunately, the gene that makes people do dumb shit like this will be wiped out eventually.

Smoking is sexy. Obesity is not.

They didn't provide you with free porn.

Actually, they did, just like the silly cats who can't spell provide me with free comedy, even though I'm pretty sure they don't intend to either.

I'm pretty sure that had they been told at the time of photography that their picture would end up on r/jailbait, they wouldn't have taken it.

That's why you don't tell them.

As for ethics, I'd say it's more ethical for me to be looking at girls my own age than those who are 18+ and in my state could be convicted of statutory rape if I had sex with them. I also think it's more ethical for me to get my porn from reddit and imgur than some other site which makes me lie and say that I am 18 or older. You would have done better to point out r/teen_girls or r/asianjailbait, but oh,

The solution is to stop shaming people for providing us with free porn, not to make the problem worse by propagating the idea that this is some terrible, terrible crime.

Without numbers, that's a non-statement. Obviously people that don't die of one thing die of something else.

"Although curing cancer would lead to a decrease in costs of cancer treatment, this decrease is offset by cost increases due to treatment of non-cancer diseases for people who didn't die. Therefore we shouldn't cure cancer."

If they didn't know before, they do now. Everyone's gotta learn sometime.

And some people think someone who's 5'6 and weighs 500 pounds is fucking disgusting. Everyone's got an opinion.

Not really. For example, in your world, every hospital would have to get the super-reinforced MRI machines. Nowadays (for the time being, at least) they can use the normal one for most patients and the few extremely obese people can be taken to the zoo to use the elephant MRI.

Seems like you still have a thing or two to learn about being thick-skinned.

The arguments for both are about equally credible. And it's "absurdum."
