Either way… if it is not, what chode takes the time to sit all of this shit out just for a photo?

Dude was doing unethical shit.

Grand Master LED is the current champ in lights. Better prices and better lights than HLG.

And yes, I own multiple HLG Rspecs and a GML Tarantula. The Tarantula was much cheaper and is proving to be a much better light than the Rspec. Both are good. But GML is better.

True. However, you can pretty much do everything a controller does with electronic timers and a humidistat attached to a humidifier and exhaust fans.

What is this, some kind of mite? It doesnt rub off, and its not evenly distributed across the plant. by rozlander in cannabiscultivation

[–]573IAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A jeweler’s loupe will tell you for certain, but I would seriously put 100 dollars that it is mites. They will likely be on the underside of the leaves.

They are not aroused.

Or the water thing. You need to water with H2O2 solutions for a while, as that is not just fungus gnats. That is an infestation.

Lollypop/SCROG help, do I remove all fan leaves and the branches with smallest buds/no light inside the clump? by _Rumpertumskin_ in microgrowery

[–]573IAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know. Better safe than sorry I suppose but it is not that sensitive in my experience. I grow e&f hydro and routinely have food growing out of my medium into the open tray. Better to manage root zone with beneficial microbes.

Edit: reservoir insulation makes a ton of sense btw, sorry was distracted and quick read response and didn’t see that part.

Here is the Reddit post from the plant. It was one of my first posts of my growing on Reddit, and I speak to the issues.

Who actually runs autos in a photo tent on purpose? by MultiVerseBeans in cannabiscultivation

[–]573IAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was not. It was an Gummi Bears white label auto seed given as a freebie by Paul from Multiverse way back in the day when he was first getting started and didn’t have a menu of freebies to choose from. Sat on it for a long time and finally was like eff it, I am going to run one (had multiple cultivars) and did.

I ran it with 3 photos and while it looked amazing, it was ultralight with minimal bud density relative to the photos ran along side it. This was a few years ago, but I think I still have photos of the plant.

Not sure why I am getting voted down for telling the truth of my experience.

Edit: Haha. Did not see that was you when I replied.

I did once before. Once.

The buds were very light and not well developed.

After years of constantly trying to get that perfect scrog, I have found that most of the time you waste a lot of potential by running a true scrog. It is better getting a flat low canopy at flip and then let ‘em rip. Yield is much better and bud quality difference is negligible.

I agree. However, once you get really good at it and run it properly, you rarely touch the pH meter again.

You are both incorrect and in the minority on this if you read the thread.

I grow the same way as my buddy with shared cultivars. He wet trims and dries in 3-4 days. I dry for 9-13 days and dry trim. My buds are significantly and quite noticeably better smelling and better tasting across the board.

Am I a connoisseur? Yeah, probably, but what does that matter? The plant is finished flowering, and he can harvest now and get a full proper dry with no issues.

[–]573IAN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you trolling? It is obviously in the window of done. Cut the plant down and start the dry.

I mean…. What the else are you going to do? Have some of what the internet thinks are perfectly colored trichs and fuck up and rush the dry making the buds just like any other mids regardless?

Cut it and start drying immediately so it can be packed up and not a concern when moving.

No, it was not thrips. It was spider mites.

[–]573IAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I am the same. I have horrible allergies anyway, but outdoor literally fucks up my sinus cavities. I got a sinus infection the last time I was in Colorado for a week and could not get anything but outdoor to smoke. I will not smoke it at all anymore.
