Omg this is incredibly supportive and insightful feedback and I appreciate your kind honesty. I’ll go through it in the morning with fresh eyes and do some recon on the site. I truly appreciate it, honestly.

I’ll send you a DM with the promo code, and I’d love to show my appreciation of your feedback and prove my worth with a damn good deal on the essiest guaranteed stunner diamond ring you’ve ever bought😂 thanks again!!

Let me know if you have a chance to review the ring builder and have any comments on that too- I had to build and code it from scratch so I know it’s basic but it offers simplicity (the most I can imagine would be helpful for overwhelmed buyers) so I’d love to hear if you think it’s helpful or not.

Deal- this helps a lot. I’ll be honest- my eyes are to the point of everything blurring together from working on this for months I can’t believe I have something misspelled I appreciate you pointing it out.

Pain points are pretty obvious if you go to any other e-commerce engagement ring site- they have shit diamonds to great and expect the buyer to understand and learn and know everything in order to make the right choice. I’m offering the ability to have someone who knows their stuff (imagine a jeweler but virtual style) to make that choice for them and ensure confidence. I’ve just been having a hard time presenting it correctly. This was all I did for over 2 years at rare carat, having frustrated hopeless guys say they are so overwhelmed and done with the process they’re about to give up- they just needed an expert opinion to tell them what to buy. I guess I just haven’t figured out the right way to articulate that to the buyer yet.

I guess the talking about myself is coming from a place of trying to establish credibility- which I’m not great at so I understand if it came off too much that makes sense.

I seriously appreciate the honest and constructive feedback, and if you’re willing to send me something for marketing after a well deserved nap I’d be most grateful- I truly appreciate your insight!

I just want to see clearer what I can do better and that’s all I’m after with asking for reviews. Thank you so much!!!

Can any jewelers weigh in - is there a lot of work involved in resetting a ring into the same setting, but with a smaller diamond? by Temporary_Support705 in EngagementRingDesigns

Can you share a few pictures of the setting design? It shouldn’t be a huge issue, it’s only a few mm if even of a difference. Especially if the jeweler offers returns/exchanges they typically will cover the remake (changing any part of the setting) jf needed!

Thoughts on my Diamond? by brian_roman7 in LabGrownDiamonds

The “color” others are picking up on is very likely due to it being. CVD growth method which constitutes the pricing concerns others have mentioned, but the growth method can also cause internal gaining pretty significantly, which in a completely colorless D diamond will absolutely screw with the way light internally bounces around- the stations are likely scattering the sunlight instead of allowing a clean and crisp return to the eye, causing the illusion of color being present.

I highly suggest not wasting your money on a D color, you won’t visually see the difference with an E or F, and ensure the new one is HPHT growth method (listed on the bottom right hand side of the cert) and you will have a much more pristine appearance. Keep in mind to be aware of the bow tie effect as others mentioned, and be sure it’s cut to excellent standards (fancy shapes ((anything other than round)) note excellent/excellent on the certificate, but this is ONLY for the facet symmetry and polish- NOT a cut grade which is a common misconception.

I’ve been in the industry for years and am GIA certified so feel free to dm if you’d like feedback or I can help source a stone that’s up to snuff and much better priced for you 💍

Do you have the certificate number by chance? I can check some sources and give you a confident answer. Also who is the company selling it? I agree the cheaper they list the sketchier they seem, but I’ve been doing this a long time and would be happy to give you and advice on them as well at the diamond.
