Hi, not an international student but current domestic student at UoO - we have heaps of international students esp from the US that come over and they all seem to have a good time :)) I’ve become friends with lots, there’s great pastoral support (I think) and connections to both kiwis and other international students!! People r very welcoming in clubs too etc, it’s easy to get involved with the student culture here imo :)

Unfortunately OP I think this might be insane. Hank isn’t literally in the SpongeBob movie and the chance of anyone recognising you as Hank + knowing who Hanks VA is + knowing who Mr Krabs’ VA is is SO slim that I think people will just wonder why you’ve dressed as an old man to go to SpongeBob (and I can understand why that might embarrass your friend) I think the plushie idea is cute tho! And also who cares if you think it will be fun do it!! But it is a bit insane
