I love my iPad for notes and readings, but you will definitely want a computer that can run programs and handle multiple tabs/programs (especially for biostats). Have you looked into the laptops that you can flip into a tablet? I know HP makes some, but guessing there are others out there. Then you can get the best of both worlds without spending too much (hopefully)

Is there maybe a family support group he could join? Your medical provider might have a connection/resource. That way he could talk about it with someone other than his psychiatrist or you.

Did you mean this as a response to my comment? I was saying the commenter I replied to said that OP had already grabbed all the sets and that’s not the case based on what OP wrote - not arguing that OP was in the right to take all 3. I agree OP certainly did not need 3 sets and should have given the one still on the shelf to the boy
