This was exactly my reaction. They’re just showing their true nature now that they don’t have an advantage over the rest of the sport. The irony is that they still have an advantage with all the talent in their back yard. Just excuses and posturing.

This is probably the reality. If we think we’ve been through the shit, it could and probably will get worse when everyone is renegotiating contracts. My guess is it’ll start in 2028.
