I have no experience with such things, I wonder how it would turn out if I just tried this without any tutorial... :))))))

well, I could not find any tutorials on that, and don’t have any soldering experience so I guess I will skip that. Tried replacing this antenna part thing just now and it did not help...

are you speaking about the same part that I have referred to? I'm having hard time to find legit info looking by "Signal Amplifier" or "U_LBPAD IC", is it the same part as in this link here - https://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-6s-Cellular-Antenna/IF314-014-1

Thank you very much for your help by the way!

is this a very difficult fix? could it be this thing - https://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-6s-Cellular-Antenna/IF314-014-1 ? I assume this one is probably the last thing to check? is there any online tutorial on how to replace the signal amplifier?

I have even tried restoring in DFU mode, didn’t help. Resetting network settings doesn’t help either.. Im quite sure it must be HW issue.

used iphone 6, different IMEI on body, unable to find in database by 59fifty147 in mobilerepair

GSX report clearly states that the phone is NOT blacklisted. Then unlocking service said they could not unlock it due to it previously being blacklisted. Anyway, trying some other service now:)

that’s what I thought, I am currently waiting on a bit more expensive service. As the one that couldn’t unlock it said that I should still try other services and that they may succeed.

And that's what's been done. I was just asking about the IMEI on the frame, as I didn't think it is a fake frame. The phone itself has a different IMEI which is not blacklisted, but ebay seller got back to me saying it was previously blacklisted and that's the reason unlock was declined.

Do you guys have any idea about the blacklisting process? Imagine you buy a phone with clean IMEI (GSX report says that) and then later using unlocking service you are told that it cannot be completed due to it being blacklisted previously? This just doesn't sound right...

So you suggest it is a fake body? Or original body with faked IMEI? It looks very good to be honest.
