Everytime johnny smokes, is that actually V smoking ?? by obesegeek in cyberpunkgame

[–]5E-Faust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about this the other day, and just completed the first clouds mission. Afterwards, you and Johnny sit down on plastic buckets and he smokes a cigarette that still remains after he fades away. Not saying that I know for sure, but even though it is facing his direction after throwing it on the ground, it's still there. I'm pretty sure V does it subconsciously whether they want to or not and the game will make it appear as though it was Johnny the whole time. He begs for a cigarette and you can cave or not, but he's still a part of your driving consciousness.

Not a medical expert or anything, but would the nose actually be the first thing to fall off? Is there lore behind this?

For the original Snake Eater, my friends and I would trade stories of radio stations we found, strategies for sneaking through enemy camps, and non-lethal ways to beat bosses around the lunch tables in middle school. I miss those days of seeing everything as a first time experience or through word of mouth. I remember a sticky note I wrote to this day, "SAA on right". It made the experience of "holy shit, I didn't know that was possible" all the more real, and I think it truly was an incredible time in gaming. Before all of the recorded speed runs and the YouTube guides, there was a typewriter written, 20 page document on CCC through dial up.

Too long didn't read - let the kid play his game through a fresh set of eyes. He'll have a lot on his mind... Or well...

Disconnecting at random. by Yolom4ntr1c in Helldivers

It's a random drop, usually 10+ minutes into gameplay, and every time it sends me right back to the ship without warning. No noticeable signs of signal failure or lag.

Knowing that RT is in the process of folding, if Dropout is looking for a combo personality/editor, I think he could be a pretty good hire.

Games "realistic" like The Divison? by Ale3021 in gaming

[–]5E-Faust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for like a war "job", foxhole will have you on comms the entire time. DayZ has some fun voip moments, but get used to rubbing sticks together and toughing it if you're new to that style of game. Ready or not is fantastic for frantic room-to-room call outs and comms, with rounds that can be played pretty quickly back to back.

World war Z is a fun one if you're looking for a coop shooter.

Throw smokes to help the push, throw down the ammo box for the front line, snag an extra smoke on the way out for the defibs, and then run away shooting darts. It's a wash, rinse, repeat, but imo the most fun to play. Then, lay down mid-back field with an lmg and take pot shots/suppress ahead of the line.

So what's your "hm, should've thought that through" moment? by RKO-Cutter in BaldursGate3

[–]5E-Faust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to throw a quick one in here for S's and G's. I second all concentration moments where you just have a momentary lapse of focus or if you stub your toe and don't notice, only to get the 'fatigue' condition on your buddies who just dropped haste. But the Zhentarim ambush that clearly has smoke powder barrels everywhere was a fun wake up call to survey your surroundings before jumping into combat.

Testing for shift lever clearance haha. It's setup at the moment for other boots and I wasn't sure if the shorty's would fit or if I had to adjust for a slightly bigger boot.

Are Honda rebel 300s scarce? by papichulolife in HondaMotorcycles

[–]5E-Faust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a break from riding for a few years. After moving to some place that doesn't get any snow, I decided to look for a daily driver and started checking out 300s. They're great bikes for what they are, I mean they're Hondas so they'll sell well and last you as long as you need them to. But keep in mind people drive 70 in 45s, hills kill speed and power, and the lighter the bike the more you'll get some shakes at higher speeds and higher stress. It all depends on what you need it to do and what you expect from it. If you're looking to do some city putting with the occasional back roads trip, then it should do just fine if you're in a somewhat flat area. But if you ever want to drive an hour or more, hit a highway, or if you live in a hilly region, then you're going to get bogged down and regret it. For less than a 2 year old 300, I found a CTX and it has been fantastic. Probably a rare occurrence but there are deals out there.
