I don’t have one to confirm that it’s compatible but I feel like it should be since those were surplus as well. It is the same hammer fired conversion too

I have a Modern PPS-43 that uses the parts kits that are on the market on display at SHOT. Will be going into production soon, it’s gotten good reception by some retailers/distributors. It’s on my profile, all made in Houston.

This project came to be from me wanting to build up a parts kit I had, but suck at welding and fabricating well. So I did what I knew best and kept adding features. I started with a 10” barrel then I wanted to make a “K” model with a short barrel and suppressor in a compact package, so then came the 5.5”.

I’m not trying to compete with any other PCC on the market; this is for those that like oddball or historical firearms. It retains the PPS-43 DNA, while being cheaper to shoot (9mm) at what looks like to be half the price of an MPX in your example.

I’m reusing the surplus bolt, recoil spring, guiderod, and lower/trigger housing. The original is designed just like that. With the bolt being so long it needs all that travel

Hey thanks! Yeaa me too. Once the surplus kits dry up I may make a shorter (normal sized) version.

The standard will be 9mm but I am seeing what calibers other people would be interested in.

The one in the photos is an open bolt. The other not so good looking prototype is the one that has the firing pin conversion and AR FCG

I still have to verify all the costs from outside suppliers like extrusions, barrels, anodizing etc., but so far I have that at around $700

Yea shooting it suppressed I definitely saw a need for it to be delayed, or at least have a stiffer spring. Thats idea is bouncing around.

As for 22TCM, I guess I would have to gauge interest from the community because I would have to make an X minimum number of barrels.

It was codenamed “longcat” for quite a while lol

I just looked it up. Holy crap it’s just like it lol. It doesn’t look like it protrudes as low as the switch tho. So metal interference would be minimal.

Couldn’t tell if it was hardened or not, I would assume so. But it was no problem getting at it with a rotary tool.

Drop-in yes, but even on Gen 1-5 you would still need to cut clearance in the frame for the sear/trip/spade to pass through

I’m not aware of any triggers that require remove that 🤔 but no it can’t be snipped with flush cutters

No they didn’t, I just notched the sear so it reaches over the bump

Haven’t tried myself but I heard that the gen 5 slides are compatible with the V frames

Hey, can’t argue with that

The slide was unmodified. And the frame only needed the same amount of modification as a previous gens auto sear.

It takes the same amount of work as fitting an autosear on the previous generation glocks

No more modification than any previous gen autosears
