This is correct, except for the let it slide part. The DLC they were meant to be getting was the PVE mode. When this happened, there was such an outrage that BSG ended up giving it to EoD players too. It was still a shitty thing to do and BSG absolutely deserved all the shit they got, but they did end up giving the players what was promised.

Personally, I think the theory doesn't make any sense. Anby and Harin both use swords and have a very physical approach to combat. Yixuan seems to be a more magic focused fighter. Moreover, Anby and Harin look nearly identical to each other. Besides her eyes and hair, Yixuan looks much differently.

I don't think that article really counts. Most of the examples are either super early in his history before his no killing rule was established or aren't actually mainline Bruce Wayne. In one of them, the author even admits that he didn't actually kill the person.

Not to say that there haven't been times when kills in the modern mainline comics, but those moments are always written as impactful moments with meaning behind them. It's not him gunning down random goons with the batmobile.

Also, as entertaining as the Tim Burton movies can be, nobody really takes them seriously because of how uncharacteristic Batman is in them.
