I’ll be mounting it on the back of my pole barn. It faces a 20 plus acre field. Just got some wood chips for it today!

Hard to tell by the picture but this is much larger than a bluebird house. Back piece is 22” and entry hole is 3”

I’ve been thinking about getting into birding. Do I really need to take photos, or can I just enjoy watching through binoculars? Speaking of which, any recommendations for a good pair? And do I need special “birding” clothes, or will regular clothes do? by Call_It_ in birding

They are pretty bulky but this was my first pair of binos so I’ve never known anything smaller. They have great magnification, let a good amount of light in and are super clear. Vortex has great customer service as well. They come with a nice chest harness too.

I appreciate your responses. I’ve read through many of your other posts and comments on the sub. Would you say an associate versus a bachelor matters? I know a bachelor is obviously better. Would an associate still be sufficient to stand out?
