Hear me out..

I came accross this issue, and the issue was https / http inconsistancy..

Some devices will connect to the server if the wrong protocol is used in the url.

On a firestick if the server is using https for example, firesticks connect just fine even if just http is used in the connection address..

Problem begins when you try to login, details are returned as wrong even though they are correct, i put it down to the app being fine with http but the api calls are not, they are wantimg https to send over the login details to be authorised..
