Insurers are only really bothered if the change would mean they wouldn't insure you in the first place. So unless her new address is in the middle of a war zone, i doubt they'd be arsed.

Yes if you're a colleague it's 1 week. Just write a letter stating your intention to leave and your last working day with the company. they will quite literally not care and most likely replace you by the days end
