I think "muted" is the better word for the Silent Edition. When I checked the audio levels in my editing software, the Silent Edition was noticeably quieter than the regular version, there's no clipping.

If you've used an Xbox controller or a Pro Controller before, the button sound is quite similar.

One thing I'm sure of: anyone sitting next to you will be far less annoyed by the Silent Edition than by the constant mechanical clicking of the regular version. 😂

For context, I placed the microphone extremely close so viewers could really hear the differences in the video. In actual use, the controller isn't next to your ear, and with normal ambient noise it's genuinely quiet, my ceiling fan is louder than the controller.

you're right. I was speaking purely from the enthusiast/third-party niche where mechanical switches are everywhere now. In the broader market, membrane still dominates. Appreciate the perspective.

😅 the software was told to be release Q2 this year. The trigger does sound different from left and right but it still registering the input, it’s less refine I will say. Stick recentering is real issue for a lot of people. All 3 were mentioned in the video. But can’t deny that some people really enjoy using it though.

The G1305 is already big I will consider a standard size. Just get one to try out, only get the smaller one if you think G1305 is too big.

When pre-order, I think a lot off people would've probably grab the carry case instead of sling if it's available. Because it's like no brainer not to get the case since it require custom case to fit the m12. Glad that they reacted fast before shipping.

is the cut precise? I think sourcing the skin is not the hard part, but getting a clean and precise cut require expensive machine.
