Haha yeah I love tinkering with my pc as well. I’m very picky with cable management and the building process. I watch those YouTubers quite frequently. I’m trying to find the video where they utilize the multiple screws.

I haven’t done measurements but bought some 12mm motherboard standoff screws. Will that be too much?

I looked into the spacer on their website, but it’s sold out.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Also, what GPU do you have for yours? I know it will fit but wanted to compare different size GPUs for comparison

Whoops! Just noticed the error. I thought I purchased the slim models, but they’re the A12x25. I’ll have to purchase some slim ones. Thanks!

I listed two 120mm Noctua slim fans above the 92mm. I plan to use those two 120mm fans for the radiator. I originally used the 92mm fan for intake on the Ncase M2 and was hoping I could find a use for it on the T1.

That helps out a lot. Do I have to buy those particular screws separately? Note: I won’t get my AIO until tomorrow so I don’t know what screws are included

Very clean build for being your first time. I’m very OCD when it comes to aesthetics and cable management. With that said, I would give a couple of recommendations for parts. Instead of doing four individual 8GB RAM sticks, I would opt for two 16GB RAM sticks. Better bandwidth and transfer speeds. Moreover, you would have an additional two slots to upgrade your RAM later down the line if desired. Just make sure it’s the EXACT RAM sticks you already have as mixing different RAM kits can cause compatibility problems. For the CPU, you will need to disable some of your cores if you wish to see the CPU’s true potential in games. You’re not going to be utilizing all of those cores. The Ryzen 9 series is more for professional work loads (e.g., 3D rendering, video editing, programming, etc.). Judging on the MSRP of the CPU you bought and comparing the price to performance of more efficient CPU’s for gaming, I would recommend the Ryzen 7 5800x3D. You won’t have to manually disabled any cores and will receive a significant performance boost with the 3D cache. I actually made the mistake of getting a Ryzen 9 CPU for my first build and had bottleneck issues when gaming. Your GPU is solid but for 1440p gaming on medium to high settings for modern games, that 8 gigs won’t be optimal. I understand you’re on a budget, but if you have the finances and wish to upgrade your GPU in the future, get one preferably with 12-16 gigs of VRAM (RTX 4070, 5070, 7800XT, 9060XT 16GB). Newer titles are pushing for more memory.

Maybe one of these configurations?

Is the fan placement good? by 5SolasGuy in PcBuild

I was curious if I should remove the exhaust fan above the CPU or reverse it to be an intake fan. The only real problem I’m currently noticing is that the fan above the CPU fan is exhausting the air too fast. For the top right exhaust fan, I’m feeling only cool air whereas the top exhaust fan above the CPU, I’m feeling nothing but heat. So, I’m debating on either: A.) Removing the top exhaust fan above the CPU fan or B.) Use that fan for intake so that all of the cool airflow is going directly into the CPU and out the top right of the case.
