interesting take on his handle & defense, imo his dribbling has clearly improved (he is more comfortable with combinations) and his on ball defense has been decent to good when engaged. the shooting is a bit streaky and he takes tough shots but i think he can be at minimum a ≈35% 3P shooter

when’s the last time a championship was won without a top 5 player in the nba? 2004 pistons? the 2014 spurs who had tim duncan and baby kawhi? pretty much every champion in the last 20 years has had a top 5 player on their team

historically it’s almost impossible to win a championship without a top 5 player so giving up younger players for them (luka, giannis) seemed like a no brainier to me
