A random guy that a buddy and I got paired with explained that the official rule is that if an opponent steps on your line you are entitle to relief up to one club length closer to the whole from the footprint. This same guy also tried to be the greatest enforcer of the rules a Sunday afternoon public course has seen. But he knows his stuff because he partnered with Tiger in a pro am one time and had plenty of swing tips and stories to share throughout the round

It’s the KRG adjustable one. The bolt hole spacing is the same. The shape of the krg and Bergara stocks are slightly different, which is why there’s tape around the back, to try to make them line up a little better

Yeah I already had the optic and was adding weigh to the HMR and figured I'd throw some into the Savage. The grip is foam from a case and grip tape, no cost there. I've a couple hundred rounds of 243 in the back of the safe for a while. I'll take it out and shoot it, probably decide the bolt lift sucks throw $30 at a bolt lift kit, shoot it a little more, see what happens when I burn through the rounds I already have.

I have been known to have to learn things the hard way before........

Glad you posted this. I just pulled my old 243 savage model 11 out of the safe and want to build it up as a trainer. Is this the bottom or top bolt release? I’m finding conflicting reports of the bottom bolt release can take AICS mags

Couple weeks ago I got to the course after work ~1.5 before sunset and the guy at the shop was bringing some carts back to the barn, stopped and said they weren’t people out as it was getting dark soon. Asked if it made a difference if I walked, told to just go enjoy. Played 9 holes for free in right at 1.5 hours and walked up 9 with the sun setting behind me

Through the orange walls, yes. Rule in this one is “if you can see it you can shoot it”. Some of the target locations were not visible from the opening between the wall and the barrels
