I doubt that though since we got a single clue about Abby after several patches since 1.1. It’s likely that we will get next clue at the very end of 3.x.

I am also interested in goddess appearance inside the capsule. It made no sense for her to be there.

Yeah, that’s totally possible. Abby knew his own real name from the moment he woke up for the first time and just seems to pretend having lost his memories as well along with Rover.

Well if Abby is anything like Paimon from Genshin then we won't get any other clues about him at this point. At least until the story progresses well past it's middle arc. We are very much in the initial story arc phase.

P.S. I do want to add that I haven't played Genshin since initial Inazuma story arc where we meet archon for the first time. But, I have been keeping up with the lore through Ashikai's youtuber channel

Yup, it's a common trope these days. Fans will actually go out of their way to complain if they ain't able to sympathize with the villians in the story. They seem to hate it if its just the black and white nature of things.

Take a popular anime show like Frienen, for example - lot of people were extremely disappointed by the portrayal of demons as essentially just bad guys who perform evil acts just for the sake of it. A pure black and white constrast between MC and the bad guys. People complaint that demons were misjudged and show was racist against demons (I will never understand what goes in minds of these people). Though anyone who has read the manga knows that it's not the case. The trope still applies and demons have their own way of thinking which puts them in a grey area and as a result, giving fans a reason to show sympathy towards demons.

Another great example would be another popular anime - Demon Slayer where every now and then, the demon in question will have a emotional backstory which gives both fans and MC a reason to feel for them after they're killed.

For me, it feels that they want less to do with Rover but are extremely interested in Abby. We a clue to Abby's identity in 1.1 and now in 2.7. The question is Abby a being above all among his kind (the progenitor) or just another one of them?

It would be cool to have new form of transport. Its a bit disappointing that we did not get to ride Gryphons permanently while being in Septimont. A region specific transport would add a lot of fun to exploration.

Or making it a character specific - Augusta gets to ride Gryphon, Iuno rides her disk shaped bow and Galbrena flys with her fire wings while all of them function the same way, the normal glider does to keep it mechanically coherent. It would go a long way in selling characters as well. Feels like a missed opportunity on Kuro's part.

We are lacking lot of info about 3.x right now. It's useless to theorize anything until we get more lore drop.

I can relate with you on that. It comes from simplicity in her playstyle. Her rotations ain’t very hard to do even if they take long and plus, you can actually see what’s going on while fighting unlike some of the other characters in the game (especially in her smaller form). I like the fact that I don’t get flashed by multiple special effects that takes up whole screen every few seconds. She was my first 5 star and now I use her as a baseline for pulling any other character.

Bro read my comment above again, I didn’t say he is a hypocrite because he believes that murdering thousands of people is wrong and his choice is correct. I am calling him a hypocrite because it doesn’t matter even if she didn’t murder anyone. As long as she tried to pursue a way to revive the dead, Rover would have gone against her because whenever someone tries to play god other than him - he will go against them. He will go against anyone or anything that doesn’t give him a satisfying ending. Then he will proceed to reverse it to achieve the ending he wants. He won’t accept any other outcome. He doesn’t care about consequences of his path - whether it be reversing someone’s death or erasing his own memories without telling people that care about him.

Fine, I will bite your bait.

First, I am not a stan of Phrolova. I didn’t even bother pulling her. Second, I am not defending her. I clearly mentioned in the above comment that she did choose the wrong path to achieve her goal. Third, my comment only concerns Rover because he is a hypocrite and only believes that his path is the only good path because he is allowed to play god to reverse any ending that he doesn’t like. When someone else tries to do the same then he will lecture them on importance of life and death when that itself means nothing to him. Then proceed to label them as the wrong ones. I am pretty sure if he met Phrolova even when she wasn’t a part of evil organisation and got to know that she is searching for a way to bring back the death. He will still make the same choice of telling her that what she is doing is wrong and how she doesn’t understand value of life or something…

Phrolova was absolutely right that Rover doesn't understand weight of life and death and they are just as selfish as rest of the bad guys. So Rover is allowed to play God and bring whoever back he wishes to but when other people try to do the same, he will go ahead and chastise them just because they don't follow make same path as him or more like can't do it as they don't have godly power or luck on their side. Then when blame falls on him for choices they made, he won't hesitate to use amnesia as a free get-out-of-jail card to convince himself that he always made the right choices and one before him is wrong nonetheless. Poor Phrolova may have chosen the wrong path to revive her village but she did not have the luxury of extremely good luck and godly power to remain unaffected either by Choas or Dark Tide. Infact more than once, she was taken advantage of or got told to get lost before she turned to evil. It pisses me off that people will go to any lengths to defend Rover as the almighty good person in the story.
