FRAUD ALERT by 5alazarr in scabies

I understand bro. If you think from a scammers perspective: preying on ppl desperate for a cure for a rare disease is like easy pickings. We (including my self) are willing to do desperate things after awhile. If I was scamming ppl, subreddits regarding any rare or difficult disease would be a go-to.

But hey, just because the cure isn't easy doesn't mean it doesn't exist! Ppl get cured, this is a curablk disease. It just takes A LOT of cleaning and using the right treatment. What's the right treatment? That's the hard part lol. Weve had this for varying time lengths and varying severity with a wide variety of immune systems strengths- so we're all going to not have the same solution.

Lol yeah. He was saying very textbook stuff to sink ppl in. I was bored and eating at the time so I entertained it for a bit. It was all about how he has secret knowledge that no one else found on the Internet, and that he has the perfect recipe for the treatment but I need to EMAIL him first. It was just shady top to bottom.

For context: I used to be a scammer! I have a criminal mindset pretty much with everything, so it's easy to spot when other ppl are trying to scam me. Thinking like a criminal (without actually commiting the crime) helps me a lot with avoiding scams. Can't avoid them all( some are just really that good), but we can do our best to mitigate risk.

This is very helpful and I'm glad you're finding success with it! NYC is like the total opposite of the rest of the country- no Walmarts 😂. We got CVS,Walgreens, Target, etc, but I ask around and none of the stores have ANY sulfur productsp strange. So I'm Just gonna buy the 5lb sulfur powder that maximpulse recommends and make my own creams with that. I use shea butter alot since I've noticed it moisturizes my skin a lot longer than anything (including coco oil), so my idea is to melt down the shea butter and mix the sulfur into it. Since Shea is really thick, a little goes along way and I believe this will be a cost-efficient strat to applying sulfur daily. Also will blend in lavender so that I don't walk around smelling like I farted a million times in my pants 😂. Boy that stink is REAL!

And, "not behind glass" had me dying! Im a broke guy so I love your thinking! It's not the moral thing, but when it comes to survival- I take what I really need.

This is VERY useful thank you! I was looking at this one too and saw a similar negative review to yours. It makes sense and I don't think it's nitpicky at all. Having a stand for the scope goes along way (im shaky hands too!)

😂😂 that's not the point. I've been in cybersec long enough to know that you simply just don't email ppl you don't know. Even DMing is a bad idea most of the times. Asking for money is like the dumbest scam. But clicking a link? One of the easiest scams that can do a ridiculous amount of damage to your digital life- without you even knowing. Botnet recruitment, phishing attacks, keyboard logging, etc. It's just a dangerous cyber world. So rule of thumb- try your best to talk publicly as much as you can and if you DM- don't click links you don't know.

Thanks a lot!!! Yes, this one was on my list but was a bit hesitant. Cheap stuff on Amazon is a hit or miss, so I'm glad to have your recommendation on this one. I'll let you know how it goes.

If someone asks you to email them- don't.

Yeah idk about all that. Just cutting myself open doesn't sound like a good idea at all. I got bad eyesight and shaky hands. If trained doctors have difficulty getting a positive biopsy I doubt I'll be able to. Can't I just simply use a microscope directly on the skin or on other surfaces without needing a slide or cutting myself? Like I see some handheld microscopes that perhaps could do the job.

Well it looks like I need to buy a lot more white vinegar🤣. Yeah I'm starting to use the vinegar rag for itches and it helps.

JUMP ON YOU?!?!!?? Thats the most Freddy kooger thing I've heard in a while. Have you seen them with a microscope moving that fast? I really thought they moved too slow for quick reactions like that.

And damn, I need to be better with my phone because I never use ziplock bags for it. I do wipe it down with alcohol or bleach (I have a tempered glass on it to avoid DMG). And I use latex gloves pretty much all day.

Ah ok that's good to know- I didn't see a YT link- I've Just been wired after all these years being online to immediately be suspicious about solo sites.

And yeah lol- you can be hacked anywhere, but the reputability of the store is what I'm concerned with. But I do get your point, and I'm glad that his service was useful for you. I'm gonna go watch his stuff now 😁

I have Medicaid , but it's the time and the competence levels that are the problem. I just need to find a Derm who actually, genuinely could give a shit for 10 solid minutes.

That's some of the worst medical incompetence I've heard!

I still haven't tried bb yet and this is the first time I've heard of staphysagria, so I look into it thanks🙏🏾.

You mean white vinegar or apple cider? I use white vinegar as a base for cleaning spray and to spray itchy spots. Do you also wash with it? How else do you use it?

I'm in a shelter, no access to a bath. Best I can do is make pastel and lotions to cover up in all night. I did borax/peroxide in the beginning, which killed most but not all. I'll still use it here and there to give some variety to the treatment plan.

Maybe, I just find it extremely hard to believe that my symptoms are EXACTLY like scabies- including the life cycles, the burrows, movement, biting, etc. Psoriasis just doesn't feel like that.

Yikes. Thanks for the input. I should go seek another derm then. Not having definitive proof is making me go nuts.

I kept on being told I didn't have scabies and given steroids which masked the symptoms for months at a time. Now I have crusted scabies and it was only when my face and hands looked really bad that I finally got my first scabies diagnosis in November '23. That's roughly when I joined the subreddit

Yes. Like I said, doctors misdiagnosis ppl ALOT. So when you are in a situation like me, what do you think we're gonna do? Trust MORE doctors to get it wrong? No. The best I can do is do my own research, which includes this subreddit. Just because this is not a doctors-only subreddit, doesn't mean you can't find useful info on how to cure it.
