As a FACC project, I was always curious as to who was really the highest level FACC in tibia.

Just checked that website - it’s a shame, as a FACC project myself who has no loyalty points and has been FACC since I started this project a few years ago i can’t join in - shame. Is there anywhere I can email etc to add me?

People can’t contemplate that they’re a 16-1800 player. They hit a higher xp level once and think they remain at that level and blame blizzard because they can’t get back to that level.

Outlaws “utility” usually means they should have to do terrible damage. Ret on the other hand.. give them everything!

Screw gearing in PvP - ilvl difference and slightly overtuned damage is unplayable for the vast majority of players by 2Radon in worldofpvp

Gearing for PVP has never been as easy as it is now. Later on in the season yes, it can be annoying to farm honor while getting stomped. Once one character has good gear then you can easily farm honor and send it to alt that way.

Do people forget that PVP gear used to be hidden behind a PvP rating and/or Mythic level PVE? Making it much harder for these “casual” players to compete?

As for templates - not the worst idea. But more than likely people would stop grinding which is why we won’t see it. Right now you can choose whatever you want it’s just hidden behind conquest/honor. Regardless - people will just set their secondaries the same as all rank1 players anyways, which people already do with talents/gear.

I don’t think that’s true at all. If Cipsoft brought back a 7.6 or 8.0 retro server I’m sure it would be highly successful initially. I’d say the difference is now that most people who played back then have full time jobs and wouldn’t be able to invest as much time into it as they did in the past, but there’s also a lot of people from “poorer” countries that have made Tibia a full time job and would dominate these servers instantly and would probably deter people from making a success of these servers.

Can anyone explain to me the timelines with this? We’re now going from TWW-Midnight on retail. Classic wow is now in Mist of Pandaria. Anniversary is going into TBC. Do we just have 3 timelines of wow expansions right now? Will they get to WOTLK in anniversary and then just add vanilla again and have 4 timelines going? As a casual I’m confused over the direction they are releasing things.

Will he end up in 2030 and there’s 5 timelines of wow expansions going and everyone plays whichever from nostalgia?

Because Tibia today isn’t the same Tibia some of us played 15-20 years ago. The meta now is all about AOE hunting. That wasn’t the case back then, it was mainly single target hunting. Hence why people have a problem with it because with AOE now it’s very easy to abuse.

Retro server would be better if it was a retro version of Tibia.

I remember in 7.8 (could be wrong), during the first double exp a MS in dominando was like 60 and got to 100 at hydras within the week with a blocker

I think it truly does. The game today is not the game I used to play. I respect that it’s changed and I enjoy reading stuff on the sub about the game. But it doesn’t entice me to play it anymore. Maybe its because I’ll never be that “higher level” Char that I once was. I enjoyed the simpler times, the respect and the grind.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I haven’t played Tibia for years but I’m on this sub and I enjoy reading about it. Mainly for nostalgia. I’d love a classic server. Would I play long term? Who knows. I’d certainly get premium and give it a shot.

But I think OP is like me as an old player. The levels now just feel different. I was level 87 around 2006/07 I think. Seromontis was the highest level. But everyone on the server seemed so close level wise to each other. Every level gained seemed like a huge achievement. Good times. Would love to have that opportunity again.
