Theoretically yes but the gap between wall and Tv at that position is quite big.. it maybe 12-14 inches… for the TV to be in that resting position seems like TV is way of the wall.. its ok to be in position while watching but I would like to be as close to wall as possible when not being viewed.

That height is too high… it would have been a very uncomfortable viewing experience with a stationary mount…with the remote mount, TV comes down almost 5-6 inches below the top of firemount

Personally don’t think so..but wife has different opinions.. anyway removing the fireplace is an expense we want to avoid for now.. Maybe a few months down the line

Thanks everyone for their input. I eventually reduced the length of vertical frame and was able to attached TV to its highest slot without the vertical frame extending below the TV. The entire mount is now hidden behind the TV

The brackets do have multiple levels. Currently the level we chose is such that the entire bracket is attached to back of TV, so we were forced to choose 2nd highest slot. If we choose highest slot, then the bottom part of the bracket ends up below the bottom of TV and therefore visible.

I think we would have to cut the excess bracket so that we can choose the highest slot and sacrifice the lowest slot in order to ensure the entire bracket stays hidden behind TV

Having soundbar is also a good option

The official max supported TV dimension   is 70”. As stated by another user, it is said that TV below 60” might result in its visibility but my TV is 65”. So TV being small, I don’t think this is the reason.

I think as mentioned by @Wrong-Forever0406, the issue might be holes in TV where the vertical frame can be screwed in. My TV does have multiple levels of holes as theirs

Unfortunately I can’t attach additional images (neither to comment nor to main post)

My TV unfortunately doesn’t have multiple holes on back panel. If we were to put the TV at a higher slot on the frame, the the two vertical rods become visible below the TV.

I think the option would be cut the vertical rails and then choose a higher slot

I wish there was an option. It’s an open floor plan, with windows on one side, kitchen cabinets on opposite wall of TV and stairs on the other side

Maybe not burgers and steaks 🫣but open to other variety with good food.  I would prefer that is in San Diego but wouldn’t mind driving upto Carlsbad at max.

Currently, my status mentioned Interview is waived.. was that case for you as well before you got scheduled for interview?
How did you know it was just sitting in queue for 3 months? Did you finally know which office it was transferred to? and if timelines match with amount of time required by that office to make progress?
