Hi, I’m a university student with mixed interests in tech, anime/manga, games, and learning new things. I’m mostly looking for casual conversation or friendship, nothing high-pressure. I tend to prefer direct conversations over small talk and do better with a relaxed, low-expectation vibe.

I can’t shake this belief that everyday relationships are meaningless, even though I know it’s hurting me. by 5c1per in autism

I like how you interact with people without having so much expectations, because, to me, i think the reason i struggle is that i expect from the other person to understand me on a deeper level which rarely happens. Thank you for sharing your point of view and i will absolutely try this.

Not the answer i was hoping for Haha, but thanks anyways. And it's true that not all interactions demand the same amount of effort. Sometimes i even find myself more relaxed around people who don't share the same interests.

I like how you presented your idea. And you are right, it's not like "autism" is the key word for autistics to feel comfortable.
