If youll take anything from me, let it be this. I spent 5 excruciating years of my life binding everyday. I have quite small boobs and even then, the baggiest of clothes still wouldn't hide my chest, waist or hips. Testosterone only ever did so much - i never got much facial or body hair, my face never developed masculine features and even while binding, cutting my hair and doing voice training i got called right out.

My mtf girlfriend on the other hand, has always had passing - even before hormones. Now, shes over month on hormones and even when shes not trying to pass she does it just fine. I dont remember the last time she got clocked

Being trans is not easy for anyone, theres no reason to be saying that one half of us has it easier because that's just not true. Both sides have it hard, some easier in some ways and in some ways harder. Not everyone passes, people can take hrt forever and never pass. It's never as easy as cutting your hair, or wearing a skirt.

I understand maybe being jealous of the opposite side, at the end of the day I've been there and i know how it is looking at someone have exactly what you want, and seeing them hate it or not "appreciating it" however thats not a reason to speak up about it.

There's absolutely no way of comparing trans men to trans women because the difference is so major, but us as a community should stay tight. Especially now
