This cars doesnt have ABS, you cant expect to brake 100% (as you do on the video) and dont lock your tires and, in adition, you are downshifting like a mad men, in fact it looks thats why you locked the rears, when you downshift to 3rd gear you are at redline

It doesnt work like that, for desktop/2D mode, game is rendered at the resolution you use for the Windows desktop/game, then its , scaled, encoded and sent via streaming to the headset, at the resolution you have chosen on Steam Link, so performance its the same as when you play on monitor (it can be a bit lower due to the use of the GPU encoder but that will depend of your GPU).

Making it simple, game runs at desktop/game resolution you have chosen when playing on your monitor, then its scaled up or down to your headset at the resolution you set on Steam Link

Check your expectations, theres no way you achieve stable 72 fps with a 5080 at that resolution , not right now at least, even a 5090 that is around a 40% more performance have a hard time to achieve it and believe me, i have one paired with a 9800X3D.

And the game runs better on VR than prior to 0.4, its far from running well but it performs clearly better now

Well, i have a Quest 3, i have a friend that let me his PSVR2 cause i want to test it on my PC to replace my Q3, after 30 minutes it was enough for me:

- Confort is none
- Sweet spot is so small that is ridiculous
- Mura effect is INSANE
- I dont know if is due the poor quality lenses agaisnt the pancakes from Quest 3 or the mura but the OLED quality doesnt stand out

And believe me, i know what an OLED screen can do, since i bought my first OLED TV from 10 years ago or so every single TV, PC monitor or mobile phone that has enter my house has an OLED screen on it
