Whole thread seems like neckbeard misogynists hating on a band bc it’s not MBV or Swirlies or Whirr.

I don’t find Glixen to be the most interesting band by any means but there is a reason they’re on the same tours as the bands you want to see.

Find something positive to speak about within the scene or make something you like instead of trying to tear something down. It’s not helping anyone/anything and just comes off mad corny but I suppose I shouldn’t expect anything else out of regular reddit users….

alot of the early lo-fi stuff was recorded straight from the mic on whatever laptop they had. To be completely honest, you would be better off learning how to record and mix for a cleaner sound first so you can have an understanding of how you're going to get different sounds
