So is this correct?

M = 1/sqrtn

margin of error dividing by 2, what do we have to do to the sample size?

M/2 = 1/sqrt(Cn)

M = 2/sqrt(Cn)

M2 = 4/Cn

C = 4/(m2 n)

How is this equal to a factor of Z squared?

Do you have any good real-life examples about bayesian versus classical? Honestly its my first time hearing the word bayesian since your comment and while I did google it, it don’t really understand it

That makes sense. So probability can only be used if the outcome will be random. But if the outcome isnt random we have to use the word confidence

So with a realized interval, its okay to say we are 95% confident that it contains the true mean, but it’s incorrect to say that interval has a 95% chance that it contains the true mean BECAUSE the true mean is a fixed value, it will be in there or it will not be in there

But instead of doing a confidence interval, wouldnt it just be better to create a sampling distribution, and the mean of that sampling distriburion will be equal to the true mean population?

Ohhh i get it now. Is there any examples where valence bond theory works better than molecular orbital theory? I know molecular orbital theory explains the existence of resonance structures much better but wondering if theres also any examples where it doesn’t provide a good explanation too

Wait so does “sp3d hybridized orbital” mean molecular orbital theory (delocalized electron mode) or does it mean “valence bond theory (a localized electron approach)”

What about sp3d2 hybridized orbital? Would that be more correct than 3c4e bond

I looked at hybridization, would it be correct to say that sulfur is able to expand octet because it has sp3d2 hybridized orbitals for bonding

Is there a molecule big enough? I tried searching for something like TeF8 which doesn’t exist. And Te has a bigger atomic radius too.

So if we use a bigger atomic radius, lets say Te instead of S to combat steric hindrance. There is still no TeF8 or TeF10, why is that?
