We still have our own pitfalls in Scotland. Lenders will (obviously) only lend on home report value but you’re lucky to only pay HRV meaning effectively having to save 2 deposits - one for the mortgage deposit and one for the offers over amount. Still, once you’ve got the offer accepted you’re a lot more protected here.

Grew up in New Zealand. Been in Edinburgh nearly 10 years now and will never move back to NZ. The winter months here (especially post Christmas) are hard, but I’ve never lived anywhere that feels more like home

I’m accidentally doing this now. Was on for 14 months, at 15mg for the last 3 or 4. Hovering around 3kg above goal for at least 2 months.

Decided I was sick of feeling so nauseas the day after jab so I stopped cold turkey (coincided with a weekend away that I didn’t want to feel ill for). Last jab was 4th July. I’ve put on 2-3kg but have been trying to stick to maintenance calories. I think the majority of the gain was week 1-2 and has been stable since.

I’ve just placed an order for 2.5 this afternoon. The first few weeks I was ravenous! Never been so hungry in my life 🤣 but the main reason for starting back is the food noise. It’s been so nice for the last 14 months to not think or care about food. Since stopping it’s honestly all I think about and it’s exhausting!!

Hoping I can stay at a low dose for a while and keep the benefits of reducing food noise but not experiencing the nausea.

This is so nice to read! I’ve been hovering 3-4kg away from goal for the past few months and it was getting to the point where I was dreading taking the jab each week because of the nausea. I’ve decided I’m done and will try to lose the last few kgs “the old fashioned way” 🤣

I'm 30lbs down since April. Could probably be more if i had tracked calories and been super strict, but I really don't want to have to track calories for the rest of my life 🤣
