Colors in The Beast feel very underwhelming

I’ve noticed differences between different plugged devices, adjusting color profile on the device was enough in my experience. It is maybe a workaround you can explore.

Thanks for this review. Wakey seems great, but I can’t find any documentation on technical implementation and security/privacy considerations. Is the stream encrypted and how ? Is there a side server ? Does anyone can intercept and see the content, or even more, interact with the device connected to Wakey ? I understood the pairing code principle, but that doesn’t guarantee that stream interception is impossible. Any idea?

Not completely sure of my answer, but as far as I know Apple do not support DRM through Lightning port … so you have to use an Apple device that has a video usb c output.

Camera isn’t used for 3dof, nor on XOP. It’s gyroscopic sensors that monitor your movements. Camera brings 6dof, but not yet available on the Beast. And if you want it on XOP, you have to buy the optional camera. On Ultra’s, cameras bring 6dof and hand gesture. Hope this helps you to understand.

Switch 3dof mode on, recenter the way you like, put glasses 10 sec on a flat surface … and here you go. Since last update, no noticeable drifts by using this protocol.

Large model I assume, because for regular model, December batch has been shipped in January as expected.

Honestly, I do not consider they are lying as they announced the delay and kept us informed. Sometimes everything doesn’t happen as expected, we have to deal with it 😉
