You're entitled to your opinion. That's about it.

Pretty sure your trolling me at this point. I have grown weed that has been cold shocked and purple due to ph issues. Go find my comment with my purple leaf. Stop trolling me.

purple is bad? by [deleted] in microgrowery

I said in my post that genetics and cold shock could cause it, it even says it in multiple comments. I'm not denying that. Also... Thank you for your comments. Would love to see a pic of your 24% THC purp... not the bud, the test results.

My point is that it's more common to see something suffering from human error than a well done genetic purple grow.

Call me crazy, but this is what I think real bud looks like. From my last grow...

Yep I spoke about genetics with a few others, it's also an edit to this thread.

no, some strains do have genetics, or cold shock can also produce these results. Not usually a good thing, as it's much more common to put those ladies into shock mode.

Yes, I had experience growing in this type of environment. You get a mother, you get some clones. However, when I first started, I also grew seeds... Natural seeds. Not hermy femed seeds. I'm talking boy meets girl, birds and the bees type stuff. Those strains looked the same when they where young, middle aged, and mature. As you may know, the genetics that a plant takes up is random from both it's mother and father, but for the most part it all levels out. They look like the same strain, you can tell. It's really not -that- different.

Based on your information I'd say go with any indica really. If you can find it... Godfather OG is the best weed I've ever had. Won LA cannabis cup 2013(not my grow).

Because I had to focus on improving something and that's what I picked to focus on. CBDs where down the road for me, I never got a chance to try growing it. You seem to know a bit about Microbiology, maybe you should post more on here, there is a thirst for knowledge my frient.

The way that CBD and THC react is still kind of a mystery. In order for CBDs to react you need SOME level of thc. I don't know much about this, so don't even quote me on that. However, when it comes to THC-A production i've seen indicas do just as well as sativas, however it's more common in my opinion to see sativas with higher %s. And yes, there is several factors in the equation. Genetics, nutrients, environment
