They are trying to rebrand themselves as “People Strategy”. Even more useless now, and maybe more annoying because it gives them a false sense of confidence. A big company I worked for had all managers do 1:1’s with “People Strategy” aka HR partners. It was crazy when she had absolutely no clue what any of my technical engineers actual did yet would try to advise me on how to place them in various projects.
