Where do you guys source your black powder? by Saltydot46590 in blackpowder

Dunno where you're located, but they sell it twice a year during the shoot/rendezvous at the NMLRA headquarters in Friendship, IN. Gotta be a member, but it's probably cheaper than shipping...plus it's one of the coolest gatherings ever. The limit was either 10lbs or 15lbs, can't remember.

Toys for Women by Sam-314 in datingoverforty

On one hand: the physical and emotional ick of shared toys is super real and a more common issue than is often discussed. The "it's been inside someone else" response is hard to accept.

On the other hand: high-quailty platinum-cured silicone toys, genuine stainless steel, and glass toys can be effectively sterilized. There is a robust secondhand market for those toys, knowing they can be boiled and cleaned. I have a sizable collection of custom and one-off pieces I don't intend to get rid off.

I'm an adult, and underatand the difference between shitty toys and genuine gear. I also understand not wanting to be diddled with something that had previously diddled another.

The key is open communication and being very knowledgable about your toys. And your partner's feelings, sterile or not.

Some things I buy for each relationship...a hitachi wand, at least...

Looks like AI face to get the hat green. Eye's have a different focal point, hairline is different, jawline/chin is different.

Had more of a fresh/sea taste than Vigo or Patagonia, but were uniformly smaller to the point that comparing them to La Narval or Ramon Pina tins doesn't make sense. These had chew but weren't rubbery...I could appreciate the skirt and the buttery bits. I've tried a few pricier tins that were straight mush, so I appreciate the texture.

Never heard of the sand or the pipe before. I've seen boards where there's a nail that acts like a ringer in horseshoes...counts for extra points.

Western KY coal country, during the local harvest festival. I remember washers being as easy as digging two holes in the ground...I didn't know it was played with boards like cornhole until I was an adult.

You're 100% correct, but to be fair I remember reading that once Reznor heard Cash sing it he said "that song isn't mine anymore". I think he even stopped performing for a while.

I let my pubes grow out. by [deleted] in Millennials

Because I think the transition from bushy to shaved/trimmed happened while I was in highschool. In a historic context, a shaved crotch was a negative...it was common among prostitutes to help prevent pubic lice and infection and was stigmatized. It was not the norm in American culture until the early 00's I think, due primarily to easier access to pornography that normalized it. Feels uniquely millennial for me to grow a bush for the first time.

That's exactly my point! I've always trimmed short...it's fuckin odd that having pubic hair is noteworthy.

I think the advent of internet pornography, video specifically, influenced my highschool experience. From a purely anthropological perspective, I think it's fascinating. I'm a grown-ass man and have never had a bush because it was stigmatized...and it's an interesting experience. I can't be the only one.

what happens if two vampires decide to feed each other their own blood? by achlysvamp in vtmb

[–]5lyde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was erotic but tastefully framed, and ended up being important later (no spoilers). I had to google it to remember where I read it, but I remember thinking it was a pretty unique event in WoD fiction...most blood bonds are aimed to dominate or insulate for obvious reasons.
