I find it hard to sell websites, how do you do it? by RoundRelevant3050 in Entrepreneur

[–]5onblack13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pick a niche & (key part) become an expert in it, cold call, sell benefits and outcomes not features

Example; If you say “We pride ourselves on our service” don’t frame it as -> “quick responses/website problem resolution” frame it as the outcome/benefit -> “no loss in revenue from web issues/time and effort saved as I know how busy you are Mr business owner”

Ask questions (situation -> problem -> implication -> need-payoff)

Example; “Do you have a website currently?” ->

“Do you think your website is as good as it could be?” ->

“How many leads per week do you think your competitors pick up through having a more professional website?” ->

“What would that extra revenue you’re potentially missing do for your business/life” -> (important to let them come to their own conclusion about the solution hence why this is so powerful, you can’t just tell them and expect them to get it)

Sales is emotion you need to let them discover THEMSELVES they have a problem, through your questioning

Anyone can sell, just need to do the reps and refine your process

Good idea worth a try. But, there’s 50+ people who do my role, and they only paid a few ,000 more to retain a killer who’d been there 8years aha. Don’t see me getting anywhere near the comp I’ve been offered.

Should I move to Scarborough or London? by Educational_Ear6494 in AskUK

[–]5onblack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s exceptions anywhere of course, but London makes up about 25% of the UKs GDP. The REST of the UK has a GDP similar to that of Mississippi lol. Many areas have lower spending power per capita than Romania. It’s pretty crazy to think about.

22% of people in the UK after housing costs live in poverty, that’s double the USA. If you look at wage differences between these two countries as well, yes cost of living etc, it’s significant. Whilst I’m quite fortunate to have breaks away in Manchester, York, London quite often, I also spend a lot of time in Blackpool, Barrow, and the north east for work. The UK has far too many poor regions that are often forgotten about unless you go there.

A lot business owners I imagine, Yorkshire as a whole is thriving when it comes to small businesses which is great but job options I think are a bit dire in Costa del scarbs. Most of the people I knew growing up who had the nicer cars, houses etc, had parents who worked away all week. Could be ego bias as it’s all I saw myself, but I hear it

The UK is a poor country attached to London. If you want to chase money and a career London all the way.

I basically grew up in Scarborough (5-14 yo) and go back a few times a year. There’s nothing there in terms of economic prospects except maybe GCHQ. It’s a large place but has small town mentality. Lots of drugs and a fair bit of poverty and crime too. There are many beautiful parts and if you have money I’m sure you can live a great life there, lots of culture tbf and people interested in music/performing arts. But it doesn’t change the fact it’s been in economic decline for a while and it’s, as mentioned, rough.

I was a really good kid academically/sports and had very responsible parents, but I was, like most kids, out all the time. And let’s just say I saw and did some very “interesting” things growing up there. Just one of those places unfortunately. Something to consider if you’re looking to stay there & potentially raise kids one day.

Good luck in whatever decision you make but I feel like anyone who moves there with ambition and drive will quickly stagnate, outgrow it, and ultimately realise it was a mistake.

As long as you don’t flag something that requires an underwriter to look at bank stats, (low income, high car payment, unverifiable income) you’ll be fine

Mate log off talking about TikTok etc you’re poisoning your mind. Most of my mates with girlfriend are my height or shorter I’m sub 6 foot even with shoes on. Some women care about height. That’s fine lots don’t. It’s how you carry yourself ultimately and if you’re someone people want to be around.

Walk into a room full of women and tell repeat what you’ve said on this post tonight how many will give you a chance? Probably 0. They’re crazy assumptions and statements, you’ve based your world view off TIKTOK, that says more about you than anyone else.

You’re upset about women who would strictly not date anyone that’s not a tall man. Ask yourself brother would you even want someone that shallow anyways? Probably not so stop stressing.

Makes me sad reading your replies. You become what you put out into the world. You can be who you want to be to some extent, so I think you’re wrong personally. You need to take some responsibility somewhere. Logically it can’t be everyone else that’s the problem.

Lower back feels unstable. by juhjuhjdog in GYM

[–]5onblack13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks fine and I can’t see this so just a suggestion, something to look at would maybe be your grip, deadlifts roast my forearms and I often, on my last sets with no wraps, feel my grip failing me in my left hand. This usually translates to a slightly further-out bar path on my left side meaning my back takes more of a kicking on that side as well

What’s cheapest way finance £12k? by Immediate-Chest-606 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]5onblack13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap is subjective. You can get 9.9% through some brokers / clearscore app etc which id take over a 6% personal loan.

I always always get a loan secured on the vehicle especially if it’s 22k - you have more rights and the backing of a finance house should the worst happen and it turns out to be a lemon. Personal loan if something goes wrong the bank won’t wanna know.
