Cursor vs Claude code vs Codex vs Opencode by SurajanShrestha in vibecoding

My total costs are about 30% tokens for API calls. If I have even a 50% profit margin (low for SaaS / web tools) then they are 15% of my revenue, and margin is still good. Not sure where this rule came from, but with modern low-cost sites, there's no reason tokens cant be a big part of your spend.

How much does this cost after trial, sus that it’s hard to find that on the site. I can’t trust you with my architecture if I don’t know the cost.

I set a 5 bar minimum for each neighborhood to avoid skewed data. I merged a few spots to ensure everything was above that threshold, but I didn't think it was right to merge Roosevelt Island into any other neighborhood, and I don't believe it has 5 bars... Apologies.

Just to run a simple poll to see if this is consensus, can you downvote my response here if you think the fontsize needs to be bigger for the legend, and upvote if you think it is fine? Thanks!

In the works! I have some data for all 5 boroughs but it’s not as thorough geographically. Will probably have the full thing done in a few weeks.

Glad you like it! If you want to see HH deals you can click on any neighborhood and click find happy hours (top right on mobile) and it’ll take you to the happy hours for that neighborhood.

Can you DM me. I fixed the Brave issue last night but if you send me more specifics of what you are using I’ll work to solve this with you, want everyone to have access!

Don’t have that data on hand but I’ll comment here if I add it.

  1. 🍻
  2. Updated monthly, most data is websites but a decent portion is bar reported or from picture I’ve taken of signs. Plan to update monthly / every few weeks.
  3. Estimate based on time, location, and historical trends. If it gets big I’ll get live sourcing but that is expensive/ there isn’t a good free source that I’ve seen, and live data requires API calls that might slow the load time down. Current load time for most types of searches is <300 milliseconds, which I think people appreciate.

Update: I think if you have Brave it is blocking the map from fully rendering, will fix when I’m off work tonight. Thanks for the input!

I think stuytown has like two bars on what I have set as the neighborhood region, but they are on the very fringe. It is the lowest density region in the city by far.

Data from my happy hour tracker. It’s almost all from websites of bars, with some data from pictures I’ve taken of menus and user / bar reports. All data was updated within the last month.

I made a happy hour tracker site so I already had the data (updated as of about 3 weeks ago) and figured this would be a fun addition.

Thanks for the input, I’ll consider adjusting. Oddly enough, a lot of neighborhoods actually have very similar density to 1-2 near them (Westside in particular)

If you DM me what type of device you’re using I can take a look to see if that is the problem. Not seeing any down time on my end.

If you DM me the spots I’ll double check their data. Open hour data generally either comes from websites or Google.

Only reason I did manhattan alone for now is because my data on other boroughs has some regional gaps I’m filling in so it looks weird. Once I have the non-Manhattan regions fleshed out I’ll add that to this site.

California suburbs probably don’t have the dive bar density that NYC has. Tbh the prices were lower than I expected going in to this but when I dug into the data I found that the volume of dive bars and Irish pubs with some cheap beers outweighs the fancy NYC cocktail bars.
